Tina discovered teaching with comprehensible input during an internship at an American high school. During six weeks, she experienced how the students successfully acquired German in classes taught with CI. She has been applying the same techniques in her own classes ever since, and presents workshops on CI activities and techniques in Germany. Tina teaches English and French at a Gymnasium in Wetteraukreis. She is also part of a group of dedicated teachers who strive to spread the word about CI in Germany.

With inexhaustible energy, Marianne teaches Dutch as a second, third or fourth language to children at the British School in The Netherlands, and she is the team principal at the Dutch language department. Marianne is a natural at teaching TPRS and other forms of understandable input, and enjoys a lot of variety in her lessons. She develops many games and teaching materials for her students. For Marianne , the path to language acquisition consists of building relationships with her students, making up and acting out stories together, having fun and developing a love of reading.

As a language teacher, Hélène does not use books or glossaries, but develops lessons with a high impact, in which the language is spoken in a natural, simple and fun way. In addition to her work as a teacher, she also manages the school library, chairs English debates and organizes various international projects at her school. And in her spare time she provides workshops and training on natural, effective language teaching.

Daniel originally studied History, but became fascinated by Breton, a severely endangered minority language in France. He taught himself this language by talking often with elderly people in Brittany, France, and now teaches this language along with French and English. As the son of Judith Logsdon-Dubois, who initiated and still organises the yearly Agen Workshop, he learned about CI, and ever since 2014, his classes are based uniquely on teaching with comprehensible input.

Tabea discovered teaching with CI at a High School in Long Beach, California, and knew that this was the way she wanted to teach her language classes from now on. She learned the technique from her master teacher at said school and also visited conferences in the US. Tabea has applied CI techniques ever since and now teaches English and Geography at a small school in the Ore Mountains in Germany. She also presents workshops on CI in Germany. 

Albert is an English teacher at a primary/elementary school in Barcelona. In 2014, he discovered TPRS, which resulted in a radical change in his teaching. Ever since, his classes have been all CI, especially when Story Listening was added to his repertoire. Teaching young children requires certain adaptations in the range of CI activities that he uses, appealing to Alberts creativity and enthusiasm.

Beth has over 30 years of experience as a language educator. She discovered TPRS/ CI in 1999 at a workshop with Blaine Ray and Susie Gross in her home state of Colorado, USA. After implementing the method in her high school German and elementary Spanish classes, she modified the approach to support English Language Learners in their content classes. She is the author of Putting it Together, materials for teaching adult English learners using a story-based curriculum, and the co-author of Long-Term Success for Experienced Multilinguals, a best-selling book published by Corwin. Beth currently provides professional development, coaching, and consulting with schools around the world focused on providing equitable education for multilingual learners.

Janique has more than 30 years of experience in teaching Dutch and reading to illiterate immigrants in Belgium. In 2007, she started developing "Zwart op Wit", a course in technical reading for illiterate adults.

She also trains teachers in teaching strategies for this specific group of learners at the Centre for Professional Development and Education. And because she highly values pleasure reading, she runs a website with reviews of books that are suitable for learners of Dutch as a Second Language.

Teri Wiechart is a retired French teacher who used CI methods for the last 11 years of her teaching career. She presented at the OFLA and Central States Conferences and at the Agen Workshop in France. Teri has been training and coaching new and experienced CI teachers since 2001. She has been Conference director and coaching coordinator at US conferences, and is now CI Summit Conference Coordinator.

Jill began teaching with CI around 2005 after attending a conference presented by Karen Rowen and Blaine Ray. She has over 20 years' experience in the classroom, including inner-city US schools, and now teaches French and English at the British International School of Stavanger in Norway. Besides teaching and being a mother of 3, she also works as a dream and money coach for teachers. She thinks the best thing about CI is that there is always more to learn and amazing people to learn it with.
