For language teachers who really want to communicate

in the target language with their students

With our Basic CI Course you will lay a strong foundation for teaching with comprehensible input.

All courses and trainings of Dynamic Language Learning are based on the fact that comprehensible communication is essential to all language acquisition. In this basic course you will learn how to provide comprehensible input and interaction. Using movement, visual support and proven techniques for interactive language acquisition you will be communicating with your students, in the target language, from day 1 of the first school year.

In this course  you will learn how you can speak almost 100% in the target language while making sure that your students understand every word you say. You will learn how to provide creative, interactive repeated exposure to language chunks, in order to promote spontaneous, fluent language production. You will also learn how to trigger the intrinsic motivation of your students by making them the focus of your classes.

Transmit your passion for the language to your students by co-creating funny, interesting or bizarre stories and by having conversations about things that interest you and them!

What do our participants say about the contents of this course?

I have done many trainings, but non of them were as rich in content, as interesting and eye-opening as the course you two gave. You have greatly inspired me. Thank you!

Practicing in a safe environment

We know that each teaching situation is different: your students are children, teenagers or adults. They are beginners or advanced learners, they are less or more motivated, you have or do not have your osn classroom, etcetera.

We also know that, for most teachers, teaching with CI is a major change.

That is why we give you lots of time to prepare and practice the skills you learn during the course, in a manner that reflects your own teaching setting. We take the time to answer your questions, and we will refer you to experts in your field if necessary.

Practicing can be a bit scary. What do our participants say about practicing skills?

Thank you for these fantastic days! For me, the positivity and safety during practicing skills in the group was very important.

What are the benefits?

it's great when the course is fun and interesting, but in the end it's your daily work that should benefit from it.

This is what our participants say about how their work has changed:

I now have many practical techniques and activities I can use daily, but the course has also triggered my curiosity and has given my many ways to repeat new words and sentences in an attractive way.
